Genuine Horia vs. Chinese copy – side by side review

This subject was covered to some degree here and in other sources. I figured that adding my impressions wouldn’t hurt.

I own complete standard vintage Seitz (pre-Bergeon) set and a genuine Horia jeweling tool. Horia is 4mm both ends, so I can use the anvils and the pump pushers from the vintage Seitz set.

Hand setting tools, what do you prefer and why?

I began doing some watch repair work to have a calming and focused hobby at the start of the pandemic. I bought a set of three hand setting tools, each with a different sized end. I have fairly steady hands and have not really had problems with the results, though I know that it is easy to set the hands “off plane” of where they should be.
