How is the current job market for watchmakers?
I've inherited enough tools to probably open a workshop after I got some training.
But I have a friend that said don't even bother training because the industry is dead.
He was a watchmaker working in a factory for Swatch, but said now he can only find work selling watches in boutiques.
Before he passed, my family member who I inherited the workshop from, also complained about how the watch industry was dying and he got fewer and fewer…
