Vestiaire Collective declared the watch authentic but cancelled the sale because they claimed that the dial had been repainted by a third party.
They have not provided any detailed technical evidence or comparison photos. I would be very grateful for informed opinions from experienced vintage Rolex collectors.
Based on the photos, do you believe the dial is original, restored or fully refinished? What specific details lead you to that conclusion?
