I am going to swap out a clasp on a metal band and will need to remove the friction pin (has a tube and two friction fitting pins for either end. This is the pin that inserts in the clasp holding the link to the clasp as well as holding the safety flipper on. The clasp is a tri-fold. I was thinking I could try and get a knife blade under the head and pry up. Is this possible with a friction pin or does one need to cut it and then use a new friction pin? They are cheap enough at…
