Zenith Pilot – Looking for opinions…

I’ve had my eyes on the Zenith Pilot for a while now, but am finally going to pull the trigger on buying one. I’ve read a few complaints here and on the web that these have had issues, movement wise. Does anyone have any information on this kind of watch case?

As far as I know, most watch cases have a hole that the stem goes through, so even if you open the case back, you can’t remove the movement from the watch case without removing the stem.

However, I’ve seen some cases online that instead of a hole, there is a small groove cut into the case and caseback that allows the movement to be removed directly from the watch case when the caseback is opened.

Took only my beloved Casio F84W and let me tell you, its 30WR rating is enough for good amount of snorkeling and pool time that last for many hours. Quite surprised that it held up to be honest. Even though it is obviously not a diver it was a good (good enough) choice for this kind of beating. Enjoy few underwater shots from Cozumel.

For those of you who may not have seen one before, here’s…
