As my vision deteriorates, I am struggling to read my watch at night. I know I could get a smart watch or ceiling projector clock, but I LIKE my watches. I moved from a Seiko Monster to a Ball 3 years ago- but am struggling reading it now. So- I like 38mm and smaller, can tolerate quartz (amazing how your standards change when you can't see), and if the dial lights up that is even better….
