Two years ago, I walked into my first authorized Rolex dealer. It was just a casual visit—trying on a few pieces, admiring the craftsmanship, and soaking in the experience. I was a long time looker of the brand (online), first time visitor to an AD. Before I left, they asked if I wanted to be put on “the list.” I figured, why not? So, I told them, “Call me if you ever get the Oyster Perpetual 41 in blue.”
And that was it. I never followed up, never checked in, never thought about my place…
