I recently acquired a beautiful vintage Zenith timepiece and I am hoping to get some expert insights into its exact movement and history.

The watch is powered by a manual-wind Zenith Caliber 106 movement. I specifically noticed that this movement is the 17-jewel version (marked on the movement), which I understand is an upgraded or less common execution compared to the standard 15-jewel variants of this caliber.
