Crawford Watch

I recently found out that there used to be a watch brand called Crawford! That’s my last name, so of course I had to buy one. This one was made in the 60s and has an AS 1187 movement. It looks a lot better in real life; the light has really exaggerated the blemishes in the finish on it in the photo.

I’m going to have to service it; it runs but the amplitude is low and its losing about ten minutes a day!

“Hot-Rodding” 1915 Elgin Wristwatch (Grade 320-115 Swap)

I’ve only had it for a week, but let me tell you that I am absolutely loving this watch. I bought it assuming it would need an overhaul, but so far it seems to be functioning tolerably well- roughly 3 minutes per day, with a strong power reserve and decent amplitude. Beat error is around 3ms on average. The inside of the case back carries a service mark for November 2023, and I’m inclined to believe it.

Looking for age of Cardinal watch

Tried asking on vintage watches on Reddit & the main watches sub with no luck. Thought I’d try here before I give up.

Just looking for the date specifically, any other info would be cool though. Gonna paste my message from there, thanks –

Gold colour on the strap is heavily worn but the case is ok. Photos make it look a bit more gold than it is. says 21 jewel Swiss made. 36mm I believe. More pics below thanks
