Another Laureato question: rotor noise?

Can anyone with a 38mm Laureato (3300 series movement) tell me what the rotor is supposed to sound like, particularly when spinning in the non-winding direction?

I had to send mine in for a stuttering seconds hand and when it came back I swore the rotor sounded louder, almost like it was scraping/rattling. But I didn’t give it a serious listen before so can’t be certain. However I can’t help but feel like it sounds loose. But maybe that’s what a ceramic bearing rotor sounds like?

One Rolex Only: Should it be new?

Play along with me here… I’ve got a collection with which I’m happy. And it’s made up of a few mid-tier brands (Longines, Oris), some micro brands, everyone’s fav not-quite-mid-level -not-quite-micro, Christopher Ward, a neo-vintage Seiko, and some quartz. My next acqusitions are going to “step up” the level of my collection, with Rolex, Cartier, and Grand Seiko.

Thus far, I haven’t repeated brands in my collection. That’s not a hard rule for me, I’ve just been building my collection…

Question on Ref 212.30.41.20.01.002 Helium Escape Valve

Hey guys, I’m new here and I have a question I am trying to answer. Most examples of this reference seem to have a signed HEV. There is one available on EBay that has a HEV labeled simply “He.” Is that an OEM configuration or do you think that was an aftermarket replacement? The seller claims it is all original, which gives me pause. It is otherwise in good used condition.
