Recover on GWG-2000 ☹️

On my lightly used gwg-2000, I got the RECOVER message (voltage drop needs to recover) after a timer went off and I changed screens. I couldn’t get it to recover until I put it under an LED light for a few minutes. Since then, it’s been okay. Hopefully, this isn’t a sign that the battery is going. It’s been on high for the full time that I’ve owned it.

RE: Am I crazy?

I apologize in advance for the wall of text, but I’ve done a bunch of looking on my own, and my Google-Fu is failing me.

Question I’m trying to answer before we get into all of the nitty gritty details – Will the new DW5000R or the older (probably have to find it used) GW5000 fit/wear like a DW5600E-1V (DW) or like a GW5610U-1CJF (GW)? I don’t want to drop $200 or $300+ dollars only to find out when it arrives that the DW5000R or GW5000 fits like the GW and not the DW.
