So, I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead with a hydro mod on my GR8900A. The poor visibility of the negative display was really bugging me and after pondering over the possibilities for a couple of months, I opened it up.
The process of modding went smoothly and I had a perfect result. No spillage, no leakage, no bubbles. Never expected it to be that easy. Maybe the forum posts were a bit too scary!
All done, I cleaned up the case and was just about to attach the bands when I noticed…
