I have spent years searching / looking for a birthyear Rolex DateJust (with silver dial and batons / sticks). Never found one that I liked and felt comfortable acquiring at the asking price.
Having accepted that I will “never” find a birthyear DateJust, I walked into a “local” Rolex store early March 2020 – this was, as we know now, about one week before the Covid lockdown – and talked with one of their salespersons about DateJusts and (steel) Cosmograph Daytonas.
