With the way that all watch brands are raising their prices year-on-year, is it still viable to buy an Omega new?
This year I bought a Speedmaster with a 3330 calibre inside. These are basically entry-level Speedmasters and I paid about $3,700 for one that was 6 years old, great condition and full box and papers. That Speedmaster I bought is discontinued, but a near-comparable model would be the 38mm Speedmaster – retailing for about $7,000. Factor in say… a 15%…
