If the enjoyment is the same, we should be aiming to own less watches. Discuss.

If we could somehow measure enjoyment levels, let’s say your total level is at “10”.
Three watches with total enjoyment level “10” is better than 10 watches with total enjoyment level “10”.
Why? Because you’re satisfied to the same level, but you have more wrist time with the watches you own.

Do you agree with this (remember, enjoyment levels are equal)?

I hear a lot of posters on these boards say things like:
“I wish I could narrow down my collection to just X watches like you.”

Joy and Interest in watches not hitting like it used to

I still like watches and have an interest in them, but compared to the first few years of this hobby (2018 to 2020), it just doesn’t feel the same. I don’t know… I don’t get that sense of wonder I used to, kind of like how Christmas was great as a child but the “spirit” of the season faded out as I got older.

Is there an eBay scam where…

So I’ve listed a semi-luxury watch on eBay.
Is there a scam where:

1) Someone pays for the watch, then demands an answer as to if its a fake or not.
2) Before you can reply, they initiate a refund through eBay.
3) You answer that it is not a fake, and then they say they are happy to proceed with the purchase (refund request is still live).

Buyer has a 1 feedback score. I can’t tell if this is the case of a flakey buyer, or if there is some scam angle here?
