Somehow I missed this! To me, this escapement is 100% badass. +/-2spd, of course. 66 hour power reserve, alright. 5 Hz, NICE! And it looks amazing! And fits in a 36mm watch only 9.7 mm thick.
I've found Rolex to generally be overly conservative in their style and in the tech. Legit impressed with +/-2spd though. Honestly I'd have a blue OP or a Milgauss if they could be had for $2500 based on that.
But this really makes me a fan.
