I recently purchased an extremely rare historic aviation Longines pocket watch box ,commemorating the Epochal flight of Howard Hughes around the world in 91hours, 8min, and 10 sec.July 10-14, 1938,wherein Longines Watches were used exclusively for timing and navigating from start to finish. The inner case is gold finished with this information, including Par Avion, and a world globe with his flight path with stops in various cities along the way.
