Is there a new ‘break in’ period for a watch that was 10 years in the drawer?

So I have this mechanical watch that I did not use for 10(!) years.

I left it non functioning in a drawer.

Now I picked it up and restarted it but it loses 1 minute (60 seconds) per day.

Will it 'settle' again after this new break in period?
