A simple question for all Casio F-91W owners: Battery change

When your F-91W needed a new battery did you have a new battery installed or did you just throw it away and bought a new F-91W?

Or what is your plan when this day comes?

BTW how many years did it run on its first battery, 7 years or more?

So I have this mechanical watch that I did not use for 10(!) years.

I left it non functioning in a drawer.

Now I picked it up and restarted it but it loses 1 minute (60 seconds) per day.

Will it 'settle' again after this new break in perio…

I am considering to buy a used mechanical Sea-Gull watch.

The very low price scares me, is it good or is it crap?

What is your experience with Sea-Gull watches?

My G Shock gains 2 seconds per day. What about yours?

My watches with Miyota movements are much more accurate than my G Shock watches!

Is this normal and why?

I have read lifetime of the resin strap on the Casio F91W between 2 years and 26 years.

The resin bezel of my CASIO G100 broke off in parts! Is this common with the G100 or other G Shock watches?
