Everyone says "trust the seller," but how do you learn enough to do this?
This isn't just theory, I'm considering buying a vintage (1970s) Japanese watch. The seller has great feedback with lots of happy customers, is that enough?
I've read countless horror stories of newbies, like me, paying too much for franken watches. I've seen list of countries known for making frankens, and the seller doesn't live in any of those countries.
