I thought the hard-to-push buttons were a thing with the 5000U, so I avoided it and bought a stock 5610. I couldn't find any locally so I bought JDM – it's a GW-M5610U-1JF – and it arrived yesterday. It's my first G-Shock.
I'm learning the "new" 3495 module and it requires lots of button pushes for practice and I'm definitely having trouble with consistently getting them pushed effectively. I understand that's a design to keep them from accidental pushes – fine, but it makes my on-purpose…
