This is something that is considered anachronistic. But not at Montblanc owned Minerva manufacture. They still manufacture and vibrate hairsprings there. I was lucky to visit the manufacture and the workshop exactly one year ago.
Here is the picture of the device used to vibrate hairsprings. It requires some good skills to actually vibrate a hairspring (new one vibrates in unison with the reference one in the glass platform.
