First “timepiece” not just a watch!

I am curious what others have in their collection that is the first “timepiece” they purchased that was not just your average every day watch.
For me it was my Omega Moonwatch!
Way back when I bought mine it cost me $330 from a jeweler. Mind you, that was way back in the early 1980’s
I still have that watch and would never part with it.
