Or are they all China-made clones?

They used to be available for as low as $30 – 35 + shipping.
But they've all gone up in price in the last coupla months.
Still, some seem ridiculously high.
Some are priced at $80+, claiming to be "authentic Japan made" while most are around 50-60 range.
How is any buyer supposed to verify their claim?
