Could any non smart watch be dressy now?

Are we at a point in time now where a watch that isn't a smart watch, could be considered dressy? I mean i'd say any diver, field watch, pilot watch would be dressier than a smart watch. Ive been to formal occasions and most are wearing smart watches every where these days. Typically black ones.
So in my brain anything thats shinier and not smart, looks more dressy in a way. Or more formal i dont know. Im just babbling.
