I'd picked up this 55QS a few months ago. It was a great price but two of the lugs had been badly damaged. This case has a resin core and a steel top and back. It seemed like the bracelet, which I don't have, was twisted and the lugs broke out. I can only speculate but if someone had installed the bracelet with single shoulder spring bars than they could not have removed it with a typical spring bar tool and may have resorted to breaking the case to remove it.
