I never realized how much you have to wind a watch until I got one with a power reserve indicator

I got my first watch with a power reserve indicator about three months ago. A Longines Master Power Reserve. It has 42 hours of PR. Prior to owning this watch, I’d typically give my watches about 40 winds from dead and let wrist motion take care of the rest.
