Hi, from a very young age I have been a mechanical watch fan, trained as an instrument maker in the 70's, quartz just horified me… But in recent years I have had a rethink on such things. Partly due to swiss watch campanies ripping us off with Chines parts and crossly elevated prices compaird to manufactiring costs, generated wait lists and condisending AD's… on top of that the further developement of high quality quartz, mainly by Citizen and Seiko.
