I have small wrists but really enjoy G-Shocks. I have in the past trimmed the excess strap length on cheap Casio watches from the Buy-N-Large. Now I have a 5600 square and g Steel that I really like, but I'm not sure if I should trim the straps on them. My thinking is to keep the watches in their original state, and it seems that the extra strap "tongue" is part of the G Shock aesthetic.
