I recently added a Mark V 1675 GMT Master to my collection, partly because I’ve always loved the 1675, but also because I’ve heard such great things about Rolex’s legendary vintage movements – like the 1570/1575.
I actually wasn’t expecting too much in terms of accuracy from a (nearly) 50 year old mechanical watch, but was pleasantly shocked to see that after wearing for 2 weeks straight, total error was a whopping +1.5 seconds. That works out to roughly +0.11 sec/day, which is better than…
