I am in dialogue with the owner of this Ploprof. He claims it to be from 1971, and he has been the owner of it the last 40 years.
What do you consider a fair price on such a model, with all the battle scars it has and the need for a proper service?
It was last serviced 20 years ago.
To me, the watch is in a shape where I will be comfortable using it everyday, but it is not in a great condition. I do not see any red flags here, when it comes to authenticity…
