So I got my beloved Seamaster Diver 300M water pressure tested under warranty at the Swatch Group Service Centre. They did a great, job and even replaced gaskets for me. Amazing customer service too.
However, for some reason they decided to “clean the dial”. There was an unrelated speck on the underside of the crystal, which they did thankfully remove. But this is the dial now:
