I HATE LUME on most watches!
To make the point, look at the deliberately shot in low light pic:
Straight, high contrast, is where it is at for legibility, and useless, modern, non-radio-active, usually dingy, "lume" DESTROYS legibility on most watch dials, when it is applied to what should be black hands, or hands with a high contrast bright paint.
Mind you, it is a GOOD thing we no longer have radium lume, but why bother with lume at all?
