I have read multiple opinions about inconsistent performance of Seiko movements, poor positional timekeeping, low amplitude, bad isochronism, etc, etc, etc…
My experience is different – I like to buy Seikos the previous owner has given up on them and then fix the movement to the best of my hability, including adjusting hairspring and/or dynamic poising of the balance when it is required. Thoughts of Seiko not being "worthy" of Spa treatments do not cross my mind.
