I find it intriguing that moon-phase watches are overwhelmingly dress watches. Are those movements particularly delicate, or is there some other reason why it's a bad idea to make a moon-phase diver/field/utility watch? The Farer Halley and the Hook+Gaff Sportfisher are the only two exceptions to this that I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are other examples (show 'em!), but they seem to be exceptions that prove the rule. Just curious why that complication seems to be…
