Does anyone know the real reason why Slava created this particular dial? I am under the impression that this dial was created as a propaganda devise by the Communist Party of the USSR to shore up failing support for the Party in the late 1980's. Any truth to this? I have bought and sold a number of these watches in the past. The are still very popular.
