I’ve been thinking about how much our tastes change as we spend more time in this hobby.
When I first became interested in watches, there were certain things I thought were extremely important, brand prestige, movement finishing, complications, specifications, rarity, having the “right” model, etc.
But the longer I’ve been collecting, the more I’ve realized that some of those things matter far less to me now than they used to.
Maybe you used to care about having an in-house movement, but…
What’s the one thing about watches you used to care about… but don’t anymore?
