To clarify, here's my main one:
I value design originality above all.

This makes sense of why I often only look at a brand's flagship models, as it is likely their most original design.
It also pushes me to have a more agressive stance against watches inspired by others.
E.g. I don't like Hamilton's, Longines', or Omega's tanks, even though I will agree that their movement and robustness is likely superior to Cartier. For me, I always want to go to the source of that particular watch…
