I have a couple of Seiko watches that are very similar in external charactheristics and perceived quality of its components, a SLA049 and a SPB079.
Both have diashield coated cases, blue metalic inserts, similar lume, dials, hands… I would be hardpressed if I need to identify what components justify their different sticker price – if I dont consider the movement!
