Watches without a backlight? How you do it?

In my search for the GADA, finally wore my auto for a whole 3 days and realized I am missing a backlight the most, and in my case I am spoiled with auto light on my LCW M300 Lineage I just trying to get input on how you deal with it? I went out for a walk and there were dark areas and was hard to see and the lume was gone after 20-30 min or so even being superluminova type! I am the type that does not like to take the watch off unless really needed!
