Hi everyone,
A number of years ago I was gifted this watch that belonged to my Grandfather, who sadly passed away almost 30 years ago. I believe he received it for his 21st, which was in 1950.
For reference, this was in NSW, Australia.
When I received it, it had no crystal and was missing the bezel. At the time, my best option for getting the watch to a wearable state was to have a local watchmaker place a domed crystal over the dial (pictured in 3rd photo). The watch winds and runs, but…
