Vintage Automatic Seamaster 471, Loud Rotor Noise On Tap

I've just bought a vintage Omega, Seamaster with 471 movement. I've had it for a day now, and It keeps the time well. However, the rotor sound is quite loud, even when I tap very lightly. It doesn't sound as loud when I don't tap it.

I know the solution is not to tap it, but I want to make sure it is natural. I don't have a problem with it's being loud, as long as I'm not damaging the mechanism somehow.
