It is a guy that lives with his wife, children have moved out. She is very normal and nice and he has always just seemed a bit odd, nothing wrong with that, I am sure I am a bit odd to some people, I can put up with that. However, he has one behaviour that I am now going to have to try and do something about:
He works from home and pretty much everyday while he is (I presume) in his office he literally screams expletives with the window open, like really foul language. I had a couple of builders doing some work the other day and they remarked how disgusting it was. Screaming YOU F***ing C**T and such like. I can put up with it other than when my daughter and wife are in the back garden and it is very loud and clear to them, my daughter is nearly 3 and I am worried she will soon start repeating what he is saying which would be quite devastating.
I spoke to another neighbour on the other side of mine who said the previous owner of my house confronted him about it but got laughed at and the guy said "hahaha yeah sorry mate, I have got Tourettes". I am 99% sure he does not have Tourettes, a personality disorder maybe but he has no tics and no other uncontrollable motor or verbal symptoms at any other time, like ever. I have seen many people with Tourettes and I just think he said it to make the previous owner go away.
I fully expect him to say the same thing to me when I ask him to amend his behaviour, I am wondering if anyone knows any other avenues I could go down? I guess the issue being is that he is actually in his own house. But in actual fact he is 10m away from my 3 year old literally screaming the C word through an open window.
