Timex Expedition Tide Compass and Temperature

Looking at getting one of these, probably the newer 43mm one with the crystal sapphire, but I do like the looks of the older 45mm. Anyone had both that can suggest one over the other?.. or maybe neither considering its an expensive Timex so the second hand can probably be heard in the next room lol
