Every now and then I'll check the usual sources for pre-owned watches; Ebay, Chrono, Joma, etc., and I've always wondered why there are so many watches for sale that state they will only fit an X- size wrist, usually in the ~ 6 inch range. Seems to happen quite frequently with Rolex models.
Are dealers taking links from these watches and selling them separately? I suppose it could be due to owners resizing their watches and losing the links but just seems very odd that there are so many…
