From some article with watch recommendations, I took notice of an IWC Portofino Chrono with gold features on a black dial and a stainless case. List $6500 and at a discounter $5300. I definitely liked the look and 39mm is a good size for me. So far, so good.
Then I start thinking about other options. How about a gold case too? There are 2 Portugiesers listing around $20K, and a bit bigger at 40 and 41mm. Really nice looking. Are they getting too big? My wrist is 6.5 in. Is the gold case…
