I was over on TH Forums with a new member, trying to explain that his watch was running as expected and posted this:
It's from the Sellita SW200-1 Tech Sheet. Something as always stood out; the tolerancing on middle rate. Now if I were cutting a piece of barstock to length, the tolerance would be straightforward, I can hand the next guy a box full of nothing and still be in tolerance.
