Need to convey what happened to me so others don't make this mistake. I have purchased used Swiss watches from Japan in the past and have been very happy. The dealers there are fantastic and the watches have been in perfect condition. The tariff used to be $1.50 for the movement, 2% for the case, and 4% for the bracelet. This used to end up between a 4% and 5% tariff on the purchase. With my latest purchase I was expecting a straight 15% tariff with the new rules. Since it was a used watch…
