Hello All,
First Post. I saved this watch from the bin. A friend passed away. I am his executor and had to empty his flat. This watch belonged to his long dead partner. No one wanted it and it almost went in the bin. I took it as a memento but had no v…

1/ “OMEGA” applied logo is very close to “Automatic”.
2/ It practically runs over the 1st letter A.
3/ I’m under impression that “OMEGA” and “Automatic” and not really parallel. Distance between “A” in “OMEGA” and “C” in “Automatic” is larger than “O” in “Omega” and “A” in “Automatic”.
4/ Any other tell-tales ?
ps. Edit: just correcting a typo.

895.0901 De Ville Diamonds questions
I am in the market for a De Ville Ladies 18k Diamonds, but I couldn’t find answers to my questions. Based on the Omega page the watch looks like a De Ville Symbol from the late 80s ref BA.3961016. On the site it says that a diamond dial version was also available, but this is not the case of my watch. We don’t have a date either, but what it is strange to me is the diamond strip on the bezel. I have searched online and I have found some historic sales with the same…
