1972 Connie – is this a redial?

Hi,
1/ “OMEGA” applied logo is very close to “Automatic”.
2/ It practically runs over the 1st letter A.
3/ I’m under impression that “OMEGA” and “Automatic” and not really parallel. Distance between “A” in “OMEGA” and “C” in “Automatic” is larger than “O” in “Omega” and “A” in “Automatic”.
4/ Any other tell-tales ?

There are various standalone threads on these less commonly seen black dialed variants so let’s create a reference thread for them all.

They are usually marked Seamaster 600, Seamaster, or Geneve, although some seem to simply be marked Omega.

Usual References are:
135.011 – manual, no date with cal 601. 34mm diameter.
136.011 – manual, with date with cal 611. 34mm diameter.
165.002 – auto, no date with cal 552. 34mm diameter.
166.002 – auto, with date with cal 562. 34mm diameter.

895.0901 De Ville Diamonds questions

Dear Omega Friends,
I am in the market for a De Ville Ladies 18k Diamonds, but I couldn’t find answers to my questions. Based on the Omega page the watch looks like a De Ville Symbol from the late 80s ref BA.3961016. On the site it says that a diamond dial version was also available, but this is not the case of my watch. We don’t have a date either, but what it is strange to me is the diamond strip on the bezel.
