>>> Looking for 3 links for this Seiko H023-00C0

I just picked up a Seiko World Timer Duo Display. I’m looking for three links for it. I’d even entertain a whole bracelet if the deal was right.
There’s a few watches that share this same bracelet. I’ve got both of the models listed below.

Model #’s
Sportura World Timer – H023–00C0
Sportura Kinetic Chrono 7L22-0AD0

It’s the same bracelet links for both watches.

End Link Number – 33S5-ZI
Link Number – 33S5AZ-LK

I’m in Canada near Toronto. Let me know what you’ve got and we can…

New Straps arrived from Aaron at Combat Straps (in Montreal)

I ordered 3 straps from Aaron at Combat Straps in Montreal. My SEL hasn’t arrived yet, but here’s the Sinn T50 Gold Bronze with Nubuck Ostrich, blue backing & blue stitching and the Straum with Ostrich leg, green backing & green stitching.

I was a little unsure of the Nubuck OStrich when it arrived, but mounting it on the watch removed my doubts. Great work!

Ted Su Custom Strap Experience

5/9 UPDATE – Ted Su Straps reached out saying they will make a replacement strap!

All,

Wanted to document my buying experience and product quality for a custom strap I procured with Ted Su Straps.

Was on the hunt for a vintage ammo leather strap for my IWC Spitfire Chrono and came across Ted Su Straps. Read some decent reviews for their Panerai straps, so thought I’d take a chance. Placed an order for a custom ammo leather strap, pilot style, and with rivets.

Their communication wasn’t…

Bracelet/Strap Longevity

I stumbled across this amusing guide for how long bracelets should last and thought I’d share.

Well dang, I guess my 1967 Seamaster’s bracelet is due to crumble to pieces any day now..

Seriously though, what is the most mileage you have gotten out of a strap? My coworker has worn the same Timex Safari with a braided leather strap for about 8 years now, and it still looks pretty much brand new. I also have a few vintage straps I regularly wear, though…

The BEST Handmade straps for Panerai are by Cordes.

I have and have had hundreds of straps from all manner of different makers. Without question (IMO, of course) the absolute best of the best is Cordes.

His straps are meticulous. The stitching is always perfect – as is the fit. His stock of leather options is vast and always includes ammo variants.

I have no affiliation other than being a fan and consumer of his work.

He produces straps in a bespoke manner so if you have specifics he’s more than happy & capable to accommodate.

Watch Straps and Diminishing Returns

It goes without saying that watches tend to have a fairly low threshold of dimishing returns. That is to say, a $15,000 watch is not going to be 15x as good as a $1,000 watch. You’re generally paying a lot of money for small details that most people won’t notice at all.

Of course, where you draw the line on diminishing returns is entirely subjective- I personally place it around $1000 before the the price of a watch begins increasing exponentially relative to the value added.

This makes…
